Through the Challenges: The Story the Records Tell

It is truly sad that people in Reno even do things like this and that we in our opinion seem to be a #1 target for entitled crazy people. People should know the full story before believing Michael Leonard’s latest articles about the River Inn. on Mike's Reno Report on an app called Substack Leonard LeonardLeonard once wrote positively about us. He visited the property, met us, said we seemed friendly, and wrote that he “never saw any harassment” from us. Then he had a falling out with Eddie Lorton. In our opinion, because we support Eddie Lorton for mayor, Leonard’s hostility turned toward us. Since then, he has sent us strange and hostile emails about Eddie. In one email, he wrote: "I have 111,000 phone numbers. I will now start texting against Eddie. "He also sent us this:“I've sent info to (we deleted the name to avoid a lawsuit) lawyer and am organizing neighbors They will be filing a class action against you. You have no chance. 220 neighbors are against you. The city is against you. The county is against you. Eddie can not help you. "That is not journalism. That is someone organizing against us while pretending to report on us. Today, Eddie Lorton told us he won his case and now has a permanent restraining order against Michael Leonard. Since this just happened today, the court records may not be updated yet. So before anyone believes Leonard’s version of the River Inn story, ask yourself: Why did his story about us change so suddenly? Was it facts? Was it politics? Or was it personal? We will keep standing up for the River Inn, our property rights, and the truth.
